Dunkin' Donuts, locked in a popularity contest with Starbucks and independent coffeehouses, may change its name to Dunkin. They already stopped making Donuts on site and now their Donuts taste like chemicals, taste stale or old. Good luck even getting any donuts depending on the time of day. What a way to destroy a formerly great nationally recognized donut brand. On the bright side as Dunkin' Donuts has practically already exited the donut business this leaves the market wide open for someone to fill that space. But whom?
