Two UK satellites successfully launched by ISRO...
On Monday, ISRO's PSLV-C42 blasted off from Sriharikota and injected two UK satellites into a very precise orbit 583km above Earth. After a lull of about five months, the launch marked the first of many ISRO has planned over the next few months - 18 more launches are expected by March 2019.

On August 15, PM Modi announced, to the world's surprise and, ironically, to ISRO's surprise, that India would send humans to space by 2022. The announcement sent the space agency scuttling to make requisite arrangements. However, the crucial question of why ISRO wasn't consulted still looms large.
